Chioma O said: Our society wont just allow people to take decisions for themselves. This eye service does not work because of "What will they say?" Who are THEY? Are THEY with you when you recieve the beatings and the torture? Domestic Violence should not be tolerated! Run for your life!

Waga said: For those of you who remember Ogochukwu Onugu from University Secondary School, Nsukka 1993 set. This is a sad reflection of how horrible some men can be. I am ashamed to call myself a man after reading this. God help us all to choose the life partner He made for us.

Dana said: Nice, quiet girl. I remember her very well. Women please listen and run while you can. May her soul rest in peace!

Domestic Violence Should Not Be Tolerated. Women, empower yourselves!

My dear, I'm still in shock. She was like a room mate to me in Bello UNN cos she was my room mate Chinyere's best friend. She was a couple of years ahead of us in pharmacy school. To think I was at her traditional wedding in Imilike, Nsukka to the monster. She was so calm and reserved. I feel so sad that she took so much from her hubby when she had elder sisters and brothers that are doing well and could have helped her. The earlier our society learns to stop judging a woman by her marital status and stop blaming the female victims of a failed marriage the earlier this will stop. I wont fail to say that nothing good comes out of a loveless and abusive marriage...it never ends well.Rather be alone than unhappy or dead in this case.
May Ogoo's soul rest in peace..Amen

See I will say it-we should not blame society! If u leave a man for very serious reasons, with ur head held up high "society" will bring u and flog u. We have our destinies in our hands and choose 2do whatever we do because of OUR own type of reasoning. Its d truth. May her soul rest in peace. And may no1 have to suffer like this because of what "society" thinks!

may she rest in peace and may God keep her children.

marriage should be a place we find protection and care not only when things are good but also when we are weak and down. it should be for better and for worse, in health and in sickness.

i pray her story will save a life. really sad.

She should have thought of her kids, and the fact that if she dies in the marriage (which she unfortunately did) that they will be left to these wicked bunch of Onuchukwus. Sad she died, very very sad! May her would rest in the bosom of the Lord and May God watch over her lovely kids. SAY NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SISTERS!
